Iona's career took a change in direction after moving from Scotland to California in 2015. With a passion for make up and a love for traditional tattooing, Iona took the steps to begin training in cosmetic tattooing. 

Initially, she trained in microstroke brows with Daria Chuprys at her Beverly Hills academy, with fundamental training classes from Kim White. Iona then began training with Kim at her Huntington Beach studio, learning lip tattooing, eyeliner & fusion brow techniques.

Iona currently works alongside the talented women at FRME Studio in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, and continues to refresh her education by training with top industry professionals such as Anna Bokhan of Mara Studio and Linnie Phan of Brows by Linnie.
